Where clinics in the New York area usually start

The biggest gap we saw in the New York area was online booking among optometry clinics: 40% of homepages had none we could find, against 33% across the US metro areas we checked. If your clinic is one of them, start there. Most booking software already includes a public booking page, so it is usually a settings job, not a new website. See online booking.

Everything else we do is on our services page, and how we work explains the audit, the one-time project and monthly care.

Questions owners ask

Are you located in the New York area?

No. We serve the New York area from our Calgary base, with everything done online and no office there. You get the audit, the approvals and the monthly reports by email, video call or phone.

Is online booking common for clinics in the New York area?

It depends on the type of clinic. Of the homepages we checked, podiatry clinics were the most likely to offer it, with online booking we could find on 69%, and naturopathic clinics the least, at 31%.

Which booking software do clinics in the New York area use?

On the homepages we checked, the systems we detected most often were Zocdoc, Dentrix/Henry Schein, Modento and Acuity. We count what our scan can see on a homepage, so clinics that link to booking from another page are not counted.

Who regulates advertising for clinics in New York?

Each profession has its own state board. The ones we found for New York are listed above, with links to their own websites. Their advertising and testimonial rules are the ones that apply to you.
