What we found on Markham clinic websites
We checked the homepages of 206 live clinic websites in Markham. These are counts of what a patient can see on a homepage, not judgements about the care.

Of the 206 homepages we checked in Markham, 41% had no online booking found. The highest share was among optometry clinics, at 60% of 20 homepages. Naturopathic homepages most often showed no review feed or stars, at 100% of 32. The booking software we saw most often on Markham homepages was Jane, followed by Acuity and Dentrix/Henry Schein.

No review feed or stars on 94% (average 97%); a DIY builder on 16% (average 14%). A DIY site is fine if it has condition pages and booking; check those before paying for a rebuild.
Chiropractic (27 homepages)
No review feed or stars on 100% (average 98%); a DIY builder on 15% (average 15%). Make booking show evening and weekend times, and put the button where a phone user sees it first.
Dental (71 homepages)
No review feed or stars on 99% (average 98%); a DIY builder on 7% (average 8%). Ask after hygiene visits as a routine, and show the rating on the new-patient page where allowed.
Optometry (20 homepages)

Where a Markham clinic usually starts
The biggest gap we saw in Markham was online booking among optometry clinics: 60% of homepages had none we could find, against 44% across the cities we checked.
